ZIM vs SA: Wiaan Mulder becomes third batter to score double century in first Test innings as captain
Wiaan Mulder became the third batter to score a double century in their first Test innings as captain during Day 1 of the second match against Zimbabwe at Queens Sports Club in Bulawayo on Sunday.
The stand-in skipper joined an elite list of players that includes Graham Dowling of New Zealand and Shivnarine Chanderpaul of West Indies.

He also became the fourth South African to notch up a double hundred on the first day of a Test. Gary Kirsten (2001), Graeme Smith (2002, 2008) and Herschelle Gibbs (2003) had achieved the feat before.
