WI vs AUS: Mitchell Starc takes five wickets in 15 balls — fastest in men’s Test history
Mitchell Starc picked up the five wickets in just 15 balls, making it the fastest five-for in men’s Test history during the third Test against West Indies at the Sabina Park in Jamaica on Monday.
Starc picked up his first three scalps in the first over of the innings itself including a first ball wicket. Two overs later, Starc got the next two to complete the five-wicket haul. During the spell, he also completed his 400 Test wickets.
Playing his 100th Test, that too with the pink ball, the left-arm pacer finished with the figures of six for nine in 7.3 overs as West Indies got bowled out for mere 27 — second lowest score in Tests —, chasing a 204-run target.
The innings also saw Scott Boland picking up a hat-trick.
