Mumbai: Several Injured After Portion Of Chawl Collapses In Bandra East | India News
Several people were injured after a portion of a Chawl structure collapsed in the Bharat Nagar area of Bandra East following a suspected cylinder blast on Friday morning, Mumbai Police said.
The incident occurred around 7:50 am. So far, 12 people have been rescued from under the debris and admitted to the nearest hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
Search and rescue operations are currently underway by the Fire Department, Mumbai Police, and BMC.
