Is there extra time and penalties in FIFA Club World Cup 2025 quarterfinals?
The quarterfinals of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 begin on Friday when Fluminense takes on Al-Hilal at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando.
Fluminense are one of two Brazilian sides left in the competition, along with Palmeiras, which takes on Chelsea. On the other side of the draw, there are two all-European showdowns, as Real Madrid takes on Borussia Dortmund, and Paris Saint-Germain faces Bayern Munich.
Is there extra-time and penalties in 2025 FIFA Club World Cup?
If scores are level at the the end of 90 minutes, two 15-minutes halves of extra-time will be played.
If the scores remain tied at the end of extra-time, the match will be decided by penalty shootout.
