ENG-19 vs IND-19: Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashes 24-ball fifty during 4th Youth ODI against England
Swashbuckling left-handed opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi smashed a 24-ball fifty during India U-19’s fourth Youth ODI against England at County Ground in Worcester on Saturday.
Suryavanshi reached his second fifty of the series with two consecutive sixes off Tazeem Chaudry Ali in the 12th over to give India yet another rollicking start.
In the previous match, Suryavanshi had struck the second-fastest fifty by an Indian in Youth ODIs, off 20 balls. The 14-year-old eventually scored 86 runs off 31 balls as India chased down a 269-run target in just 34.3 overs with four wickets in hand to take a 2-1 lead in the five-match series.
