Chelsea confirms signing of Jamie Gittens on seven-year contract
Chelsea has confirmed the signing of English winger Jamie Gittens from German side Borussia Dortmund on a seven-year contract.
Gittens joined the German side from Manchester City, making his debut in the 2020/21 season and featuring over 100 times across the Bundesliga, Champions League, and DFB-Pokal. During his spell in Germany, Gittens scored a total of 17 goals.

The dynamic winger, who can play on both flanks, made 17 goal contributions across all competitions last season, and featured for Dortmund in its recently concluded FIFA Club World Cup campaign.
Gittens is the latest addition to a Chelsea squad that has seen Joao Pedro and Liam Delap join already. Estevao Willian, who scored for Palmeiras against the Blues in the sides’ FIFA Club World Cup quarter-final, is also set to join the squad.
