Calcutta Football League 2025-26: Mohun Bagan Super Giant beats Railway FC 2-0

Mohun Bagan Super Giant beat Railway FC to register its second win of the Calcutta Football League 2025-26 season at the Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay Stadium in Barrackpore on Monday.

MBSG took an early lead through skipper Sandip, who found the net in the second minute of the game.

The Kolkata giant doubled its advantage late in the second half with a goal from Shibam Munda to claim three points.

MBSG began its CFL campaign with a narrow defeat to Police AC before thumping Kalighat Sports Lovers Association 4-0 in the second round.

MBSG will be next up against George Telegraph on July 11, before it takes on arch-rival East Bengal on July 19.
