Bomb Threat At 2 International Airports In Canada; Flight Services Disrupted | World News

Flight services at Montreal, Ottawa and several other airports were disrupted in Canada on Thursday after a bomb threat, as per media reports.
Ottawa Airport said that it is currently investigating a security incident. They have warned that flight operations may be disrupted and urged people to check the status of their flight before travelling to the airport.
In a post on X, Ottawa International Airport said, “The Ottawa Airport is currently investigating a security incident. Operations may be disrupted; please check the status of your flight before travelling to the airport. We will continue to advise as the situation unfolds.”
Ottawa Police Service also informed that working with the Ottawa Airport to investigate a security incident.

Air traffic control managers at NAV Canada said they were informed of bomb threats in Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver airports.
They added that personnel at the affected locations were safe, and temporary ground stops had been implemented at the affected airports.
“Early this morning, NAV CANADA was made aware of bomb threats affecting facilities in Ottawa, Montreal, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Calgary and Vancouver. Employees at impacted locations are safe, and a temporary ground stop has been implemented at the affected airports,” NAV Canada said in a post on X.
Air traffic control manager NAV Canada added that they are collaborating with authorities to address the situation and ensure the safety of all personnel and passengers.
