Astronomer CEO Andy Byron’s 4-word reaction of shock after seeing his face on Coldplay kiss cam
Astronomer CEO Andy Byron was shocked when the Coldplay jumbotron panned on him and Kristin Cabot and uttered four words, according to reports. Dropping the F bomb, he said, “F**king hell, it’s me,” and ducked the camera while Cabot hid her face and said: “This is awkward”. These are the only reactions obtained from them so far as the extra-marital affair scandal ballooned into a bigger controversy over workplace ethics. Astronomer has also not issued any statement. A fake apology letter from Andy Byron saying sorry to his wife Megan Kerrigan went viral, but it was fake and no one associated with the major scandal issued any public statement.
‘Not the guy from the Coldplay gig’
Meanwhile, a different Andy Byron from Dublin made it clear on his LinkedIn that he is not the Andy Byron from Coldplay concern and plugged his own work as his LinkedIn profile was searched in the wake of the major controversy, as Astronomer’s Andy Byron deleted his LinkedIn page. “No, this isn’t me. I wouldn’t be caught dead at a Coldplay concert. I’m the Andy Byron who makes videos for big screens, not the one who gets caught on them,” the hilarious post read.
Andy Byron deletes LinkedIn profile, wife deletes surname
Astronomer did not issue any statement specifying whether they are taking any action against Andy Byron and Kristin Cabot for their extramarital affair. But both of their LinkedIn pages that were flooded with hate comments, were deleted. Andy Byron’s wife Meghan, also removed her surname in the wake of the revelation of the affair.
Spate of fake news in the wake of Coldplay scandal
Apart from the fake statement attributed to Andy Byron, a fake statement went viral claiming that Coldplay decided to introduce camera-free audience after the scandal broke out. “Starting with our next show, we’re introducing camera-free audience sections for people and their sidepieces,” the fake statement read.
