Lokayukta book suo motu complaint against Karnataka State Pollution Control Board

Following a series of complaints, the Lokayukta registered a suo motu complaint against officials of the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board pertaining to alleged dereliction of duty, maladministration, corruption, nepotism and other alleged illegal activities, on June 25.
The Lokayukta has formed 27 teams, including judicial officers and police officers, and issued search warrants for conducting search and seizure at the offices of the Pollution Control Board across Bengaluru.
