Tamil actor Sri (Shriram Natarajan) has reappeared on social media after a long absence, announcing the release of his first English-language novel titled May Eye Come In. The book is now available for purchase on Amazon, according to his post dated Wednesday, June 18, 2025.

Sri, known for his work in the Vijay TV serial Kana Kaanum Kaalangal and films such as Vazhakku Enn 18/9, Onaayum Aatkuttiyum, and Irugapatru, had been largely absent from the public eye in recent months. His drastic physical transformation and personal posts on social media had raised concern among fans and colleagues.

In mid-2024, Sri shared videos and images on Instagram that showed him visibly altered, prompting widespread speculation about his health. He also made allegations about unpaid dues from the producers of Irugapatru (2023), a film he had acted in several years earlier. These developments led to calls for support and privacy, with director Lokesh Kanagaraj stating in April 2025 that Sri was under professional medical care and needed time away from the public spotlight.

Sri’s return marks a shift in tone. In his recent post, he shared news of the novel and thanked those who had stood by him. Friends and family are reported to have helped him reconnect and begin treatment.
