ATP Rankings after Wimbledon 2025: Sinner, Alcaraz continue to occupy top two spots

Jannik Sinner and Carlos Alcaraz continued to occupy the top two spots in the latest ATP Rankings released on Monday, after competing against each other in the Wimbledon final.

Italy’s Sinner took down two-time defending champion Alcaraz 4-6, 6-4, 6-4, 6-4 to clinch his maiden title at SW19. For the 22-year-old Spaniard, it was the first-ever loss in a Major final.

The 23-year-old Sinner is the fifth player to go past 12,000 ranking points after Roger Federer, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray since 1990. He now leads Alcaraz by 3,430 ranking points.

USA’s Taylor Fritz, who lost to Alcaraz in the semifinals, returned to his career high ranking of four while British hope Jack Draper, who suffered a second-round defeat to former runner-up Marin Cilic, slipped to fifth.

Rising American Ben Shelton achieved a new career high of nine with his run to the quarterfinals while Andrey Rublev, who reached the fourth round, returned to the Top 10.

Elsewhere in the Top 100, Italy’s Flavio Cobolli (19th) and Mattia Bellucci (63rd), USA’s Alex Michelsen (30th) and Ethan Quinn (82nd), Canada’s Gabriel Diallo (38th), Brazil’s Joao Fonseca (48th) and Spain’s Jaume Munar (51st) achieved new career high rankings.
