Dale Steyn parts ways with Sunrisers Eastern Cape

Dale Steyn has parted ways with the SA20 league team Sunrisers Eastern Cape, the former South African pacer announced on Monday.

Steyn was the bowling coach of the two-time champion and runner-up of the 2025 season for the first three editions of the tournament.

“Massive thanks to Sunrisers EC,” Steyn wrote on X. “It’s been a great pleasure working with you and the best management/coaching staff I’ve ever worked with. 3 seasons and 3 finals, twice won and a runner up, what more could one ask for, loved it,” the 42-year-old added.

“All the best to the team for season 4. Thank you and go well,” he concluded.
