Kiyan Nassiri returns to Mohun Bagan Super Giant, signs three-year deal

Kiyan Nassiri has signed a three-year deal with Mohun Bagan Super Giant, the Indian Super League (ISL) champion announced on Friday.

Son of Jamshed Nassiri, Kiyan started his club football journey with Mohun Bagan and is most notably known for a Kolkata Derby hat-trick against arch-rival East Bengal in the 2021-22 season.

In his first four-year stint with Mohun Bagan (2019-2024), he scored nine goals in 70 appearances before moving to Chennaiyin FC for the 2024-25 season.

He made 15 appearances for Chennaiyin, but could not find the net for the club.

“It feels good to be back in Kolkata. If I get the chance, I want to prove myself again. I started my journey with Mohun Bagan, so I have a special emotion towards this club,” said Nassiri after signing with the ISL champion.
