The HSR Layout police have taken up a non-cognizable report after Kritika, daughter of late retired DGP Om Prakash, allegedly vandalised a shop close to her house and assaulted the shop keeper over a trivial row on Monday (June 30, 2025) evening.

According to the complaint, Kritika approached the shop and stood for some time. When the shopkeeper asked her if she needed anything, she become aggressive and vandalised the plastic bottles and cookie jars.

When the shopkeeper tried to intervene, she manhandled him and left the shop after a few seconds. The entire incident was captured on the CCTV camera installed at the shop. A few passers-by gathered at the shop and alerted the police control room. Patrolling staff rushed to the spot to take stock of the situation.

However, by the time the police personnel arrived at the shop, Kritika had returned home. According to the police, Kritika was living alone in the house after her father Om Prakash was murdered. Her mother is reportedly in jail while her brother lives separately.
