Finance Minister Payyavula Keshav said that they were receiving positive response while visiting villages and interacting with the locals as part of ‘Suparipalanalo Tholi Adugu’ initiative. He participated in the programme at Jayapuram village of Kuderu mandal in Uravakonda constituency on Wednesday.

Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Keshav said that all the MLAs and Ministers have been visiting villages and getting positive feedback from the people. “People are telling that our government is meeting their expectations and aspirations. They also told that the previous government had created an atmosphere of fear in the villages,” he said.

Mr. Keshav said that while the previous government gave ₹3,000 per month as pension, the NDA government increased it to ₹4,000. Similarly, the previous government gave ‘Amma Vodi’ to 45 lakh students, while our government is giving Talli Ki Vandanam to 67 lakh students, Mr. Keshav added.

Meanwhile, on his visit to the village, the Minister distributed free pigeon pea seeds to 55 farmers.

In Nandyal district, Roads and Buildings (R&B) Minister B.C. Janardhan Reddy took part in the programme at Gulladurthi in Banganapalle mandal. The Minister said that the NDA government purely focussed on development once the elections were over. He lashed out at the YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) for resorting to rowdyism and other atrocities.
