Yamini Sarma appointed as BJP national council member 

BJP official spokesperson Sadineni Yamini Sarma on Tuesday said the appointment of P.V.N. Madhav as new State president brought great happiness and renewed enthusiasm to the party workers.

“I also express my gratitude to the national and State party leadership for recognising my services to the party and appointing me as a member of the BJP National Council,” she said.

Others appointed as National Council members included MPs D. Purandeswari and C.M. Ramesh, MLAs P. Vishnu Kumar Raju and Parthasarathi, 20-point programme chairman Lanka Dinakar, and party leaders G.V.L. Narasimha Rao and Vishnu Vardhan Reddy.
