Karnataka gram panchayat member held for firing in air

Police arrested a Gram Panchayat member who fired in the air and went around brandishing a long knife after his birthday celebrations in Kudachi in Belagavi district on Saturday.

Babajan Khalimundasai shot a few rounds in the air and went around the streets with a knife in his hand.

Some of his friends shot a video and posted it on social media. Police arrested him soon after. A case has been registered in Kudachi police station.
