Parts of Delhi-NCR experienced heavy rainfall on Saturday afternoon, as the India Meteorological Department (IMD) had issued Yellow and Orange alerts for the capital and surrounding regions. The downpour brought significant relief from the recent scorching heat, though accompanied by strong winds and warnings of lightning.

The Orange alert was specifically issued for Southeast and Southwest Delhi, predicting light to moderate rain and gusty winds. The rest of Delhi remained under a Yellow alert, indicating similar weather but with less intensity.
